This policy forms part of the terms of service. It applies to paid plans. The free plan costs nothing, so nothing here applies to it except clauses 2 and 3.
The short version
Plans are monthly, and one price covers the whole workspace: never per seat or per signature. Cancel whenever you like, from your account settings, and keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment, ask us and we will refund it in full. The agent's credits renew each month and have no cash value. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
1.Plans and billing
- Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. We do not currently offer annual billing.
- Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion rate and cross-border fee, which we do not receive and cannot refund.
- A plan is priced per workspace, not per seat or per signature. Each plan includes a number of team members, documents a month, templates and agent credits, all shown on the pricing page. Adding a teammate within your plan's limit costs nothing extra.
- Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers. The provider is named at checkout and on your invoice.
- Checkout is opening soon. Until it does, every workspace is on the free plan and nothing is charged. This policy applies from the first payment you make.
2.Free plan and trials
The free plan has no time limit and needs no payment method. If a trial of a paid plan requires one, we will tell you clearly before you start, tell you the date it converts, and email you before it does. Cancel before that date and you are not charged.
3.The agent's credits
Every plan, the free plan included, comes with a monthly allowance of credits, which is what the agent works on. Drafting and sending an agreement takes about 30; answering a question or sending reminders takes a few. The allowance for each plan is on the pricing page.
- A workspace's allowance is set at the start of each calendar month, on the 1st in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
- We may add credits to a workspace, for example to make up for a problem. Added credits count for the month they are added in unless we tell you otherwise.
- Credits are measured from the work each request actually takes, and the product shows a workspace what each one went on. We may change how many credits a kind of request takes, and will show the new figures in the product before they apply.
- When a workspace runs out, the agent pauses until the next month's allowance or a plan with a larger one. Everything else in the product keeps working.
- Credits have no cash value. They cannot be bought separately, sold, transferred to another workspace, exchanged for money or refunded.
4.Cancelling
Cancel at any time from account settings, or by emailing billing@dropthedoc.in from your account address. There is no cancellation fee, no notice period and no retention call to sit through.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not end the current period.
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After that, the workspace moves to the free plan if it fits within those limits, or becomes read-only so you can still export. From the next month, the agent's credits are the free plan's allowance.
- Documents already sent stay valid. Cancelling your plan does not invalidate a signature or void a completed document.
Export before you close a workspace
Cancelling a plan keeps your data. Closing a workspace deletes it after 30 days, and because documents are encrypted at rest we cannot bring them back. Download your completed documents and certificates of completion first.

Nothing in this table limits a statutory right you have as a consumer. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
6.How to request a refund
- Email billing@dropthedoc.in from the address on your account.
- Give us the invoice number or the date and amount of the charge, and one line on what happened.
- We acknowledge within 2 business days and decide within 7 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
We refund to the original payment method only, as our payment processor and card network rules require. We cannot refund to a different card, a different person or a bank account.
If we decline a refund and you disagree, escalate through the grievance redressal policy. Please raise it with us before starting a chargeback: a chargeback freezes the disputed amount and takes considerably longer than we do.
7.Consumers in the EU and UK
If you are a consumer in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
By starting to use a paid plan within that period you expressly request that we begin performance immediately and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw part way through, we may charge you in proportion to what you used before withdrawing. Our 7-day full-refund policy in clause 5 sits alongside this right and does not replace it, and where the statutory right gives you more, it applies.
To withdraw, email billing@dropthedoc.in. Any clear statement is enough, and we will refund within 14 days of being told.
8.Failed payments
- If a payment fails we will email you and retry over the following days.
- Your account stays active for a grace period of 7 days.
- After that we may downgrade the workspace to the free plan or make it read-only. We do not delete data for non-payment.
- Update your payment method in account settings to restore access. Nothing is lost in the meantime.
9.Taxes and invoices
- India. Supplies to customers in India carry GST at the applicable rate, currently 18 per cent. We issue a GST-compliant tax invoice. Supply a valid GSTIN in billing settings and it will appear on the invoice so you can claim input tax credit.
- Outside India. Supplies to customers outside India are treated as export of services and are zero-rated where the conditions under Indian GST law are met. You are responsible for any VAT, sales tax, use tax or reverse charge that applies where you are, and for self-accounting for it where your local rules require.
- Withholding. If your local law requires you to withhold tax from a payment to us, the amount due is grossed up so that we receive the full invoiced sum, and you will send us the withholding certificate.
- Invoices are available in account settings and are emailed on each charge. Ask billing@dropthedoc.in if you need a detail corrected. We can reissue an invoice, but we cannot backdate one or change the tax treatment after the event.
10.Price changes
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email before the change applies to your next renewal. The price you are on now applies until the end of your current period. If you do not accept a new price, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it.

Version history
- Version 2.015 October 2026
Updated for the current plans: monthly billing only, one price per workspace rather than per seat, and the agent's monthly credits, which do not carry over and have no cash value. Removed the annual-plan refund rows, since there is no annual plan. Noted that checkout is not open yet, so nothing is charged until it is.

First publication.
